Founded in Shanghai in 2012, DOK is a design practice centred on space. We explore the relationship between nature, Eastern sensibilities and contemporary life through interiors, materials, furniture and art.
Nature
Light, air, plants and materials belong to the space. Design responds to its surroundings and to the senses.
Eastern sensibility
An Eastern sensibility is a way of seeing and living. Borrowed views, pauses and subtle layers leave room for everyday life.
Everyday life
We begin with real routines, balancing scale, touch and use. Beauty unfolds through time and daily life.
